First Flight
The name comes from the building in which First Flight is located in. The building was home to Pan American Airways when it began service in 1927. Now, it has been converted into a lovely brewery and is a great place to visit for aviation buffs and casual drinkers alike. Visitors will find Pan Am memorabilia all over the walls—right from the ceiling fan to the Sikorsky seaplane. First Flight is the first brewery in the Florida Keys.
Papa’s Pilar Distillery
Papa’s Pilar Distillery is inspired by one of the most famous Key West residents, Ernest Hemingway. Named after Hemingway’s beloved boat, Pilar, this distillery will not let you down with its craft beer and selection of rum. Make sure to take home a bottle as a souvenir for your trip.

Key West Distilling prides itself on getting the whole island aesthetic in their bar. Make sure to try out some distilled rums, vodka, gin, and whiskey. All of these are made on-site! You can take a tour of the distillery, but, make sure to take an appointment first.
